Combining the knowledge, passion and expertise of over 20 years and 90 members of staff, we have perfected the art of preparing fresh, home cooked food that is appealing to young children, while keeping variety and nutrition at the forefront.
The Zebedees Promise
Our children eat real food, prepared from scratch and cooked on the day of delivery. Our menus are developed with our in-house Nutritionist, to ensure they meet recommended nutrient targets for pre-school children (including salt and NME sugars).
Last year we celebrated our 20 year anniversary. Two decades of deliciously nutritious nursery meals!

We have been using Zebedees as our nursery catering company since 2005. We always find Zebedees extremely accommodating in meeting various dietary needs. The children really enjoy the meals they provide and we are extremely impressed with the nutritious and varied menu they offer.
The Zebedees team offers a personal touch which seems to be increasingly rare; they work hard to establish and maintain a relationship with the client. They offer practical advice, marketing sessions for parents; as well as providing hands on help at peak times such as serving Christmas lunch!
The meals are varied, tasty and nutritionally balanced but most importantly the children like them! Innovative ideas such as the Around the World menus and themed days encourage children to try new foods and to celebrate and appreciate cultural differences.
In addition to the hot meals Zebedees supplies us with packed lunches for outings, After School Club teas, meals for staff INSET days and, when required, a buffet lunch for the inspection team!
Choosing Zebedees is one of the best strategic decisions we have made: working with a small nursery catering company means that everyone involved, from delivery drivers to directors, is committed to ensuring the customer enjoys an excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble and nothing gets in the way of a delivery, not even snow and ice, which for a rural school such as ours has been an important consideration.

Having Zebedees as our nursery catering company has made an enormous difference to our children and the operation of our nursery. The children (and staff!) really enjoy the meals; lots of vegetables and fruits and with a good variety of meals to tempt most taste buds! Also very little waste. Knowing that the meals will be delivered daily and on time, being able to add additional meals and to meet all dietary requirements has made a big difference to us.
