Introducing Our New Autumn/Winter Menu 2026/27

Discover what's new on the Zebedees Autumn/Winter menu, from brand-new lunches and hot teas to the return of some much-loved favourites. Starts Monday 26th October.
We're really excited to introduce our new Autumn/Winter menu, which starts on Monday 26th October 2026 and runs until Friday 21st May 2027. It brings together some much-loved Zebedees favourites alongside a fantastic selection of completely new dishes.
A lot of time, care and food development has gone into creating our newest recipes, and we can't wait for nurseries, and most importantly the children, to try them!
What's new on lunches?
For the first time, nurseries will be able to enjoy:
• Creamy Mushroom & Lentil Bolognese
• Tuna & Salmon Al Forno
• Thai Mango Noodles
• Vegetable & Lentil Ragu
We're excited to see which of these become the children's new favourites!
We've also listened to your feedback and brought back some dishes you've missed. Our award-winning Butter Chicken, which won a Nourish Award in 2025, makes a welcome return.
Also back by popular demand is Speldhurst Sausage in Homemade Baked Beans. Our sausages are made to our own special recipe for the children, and this time they'll be pre-diced, making them easier for nursery staff to serve.
As we head into the colder months, our popular Sweet Potato Mash also returns: a warming winter favourite and the perfect accompaniment to our seasonal dishes.
What's new on second courses?
There are some exciting additions to our second courses, including a brand-new Banana & Spinach Sponge. Combining naturally sweet banana with spinach, it's a great way of introducing another nutritious ingredient into a second course.
To ensure we meet EYFS nutrition guidance, we continue to offer a savoury second course, which this time is Rice Cake served with Soft Cheese.
A winter favourite also makes a welcome return with our Cherry Yoghurt. All of our yoghurts are made here with 100% fruit, with no added sugar or sweeteners, allowing the natural fruit flavours to do the talking.
And, for the first time, Melon Medley is joining the menu. We know children enjoy variety, so introducing different coloured fruits and flavours throughout the menu helps to keep second courses interesting.
Something new for hot tea too!
Our Hot Tea menu has been developed with the winter months in mind. We've created a new and improved Macaroni Cheese, now made with a blend of three cheeses to make this our tastiest version yet.
There are also four new dishes joining our Hot Tea menu:
• Lamb Tikka
• Chicken Orzo
• Pineapple Laksa
• Chicken Biryani
These new additions bring even more variety, flavours and warming choices to teatime. A savoury second course of Rice Cake with Mixed Bean Salsa also makes its debut on the tea menu.
Ready for 26th October
From brand-new recipes and refreshed dishes to the return of some much-requested favourites, a huge amount of development has gone into our new Autumn/Winter menu.
If you're an existing Zebedees nursery, the new menu is available to view and download in ZOO now, and your menu cards and information pack will arrive before the new menu begins.
