Spring Summer 2026 Menu Launch

10th April 2026

We are excited to launch our new Spring Summer 2026 Menu, running from 20 April to 23 October 2026.

Designed to reflect the season and the needs of growing children, this menu brings together fresh ingredients, nourishing recipes and the familiar meals that children love most.

Created by our Executive Head Chef Brendan and approved by leading children’s nutritionist Charlotte Stirling-Reed, our new menu meets the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) nutrition guidelines. This means every meal is carefully balanced to support healthy development, while still being full of flavour.

As always, our hot lunches are freshly prepared on the morning of delivery using a wide variety of nutritious ingredients.

What’s on the Menu

This season’s menu is all about balancing the old with the new. You will find a mix of exciting new dishes alongside some much loved favourites that children already know and enjoy.

New additions include:

  • Paneer & Sweet Potato Dahl

  • Spanish Bean Stew

Alongside updated versions of popular dishes such as:

  • Mango Chicken

  • Lamb & Apricot Tagine

And, following feedback from nurseries and families, we are pleased to be bringing back a firm favourite:

  • Roast Chicken in Gravy with Baby New Potatoes

All Time Favourites Fridays

One of the highlights of this menu is the introduction of our All Time Favourites menu.

Fridays of Week C will feature a selection of dishes that have consistently been enjoyed by children across our menus. It is all about celebrating the meals that children feel comfortable with, helping to build confidence around food while still offering variety throughout the week.

Thoughtfully Designed Second Courses

Our second courses continue to focus on both nutrition and enjoyment, with options that support a balanced diet while appealing to young tastes.

New additions include:

  • Sweet Potato & Blueberry Oat Bar

  • Breadsticks & Cheddar Cheese

  • Oaty Apple Slice

The Oaty Apple Slice is a great example of our approach. Made with oats, butter and stewed apple, it contains no added sugar or sweeteners while still being naturally delicious.

Our homemade yoghurts also remain a staple, made simply with natural yoghurt and fresh fruit. A plain yoghurt option is always available for children who prefer a smoother texture.

Balanced Afternoon Teas

Our Afternoon Tea offering continues to provide a well rounded and satisfying end to the day.

Each tea includes:

  • A source of protein

  • A starchy carbohydrate

  • A dairy item

  • A portion of fruit or vegetables

This ensures children receive a balanced combination of nutrients throughout the day.

Following feedback, we have also introduced more savoury options and greater variety across the week.

Supporting Healthy Habits from an Early Age

At Zebedees, we believe that early years meals should do more than just fill children up. They should help build positive relationships with food, introduce new flavours and support healthy habits that last a lifetime.

This menu has been carefully created to do exactly that, combining nutrition, variety and the comfort of familiar favourites.
