So, 2023 is going to be hard to beat, it was such an exciting year for us as we celebrated turning 25, BUT we already have so much lined up for 2024, it could turn out to be just as good. Here are some of the projects we are already working on:

- Our new website! 

Now that a lot of the information that our nurseries need can be viewed on ZOO, we are relaunching our website with a new look that will be slightly pared down and simpler to navigate for any new nurseries interested in our service or parents looking for information.

- Extended puree range - perfect for every stage of weaning

Our chefs are busy working on beefing up our puree range and we will soon be launching the new packs to nurseries. The new boxes will be available to order on ZOO as usual and will include fruit and vegetable flavours for Stage One and 'lunch' purees which include protein and carbohydrates for Stages 3 and 4. These will have a chunkier texture, perfect for older babies before they make the final step to our hot lunches. As with our current range the purees will come as frozen cubes that can be heated in the microwave or on the hob. They will come in boxes of 48 with resealable bags to retain freshness.

- Layered Rainbow Yoghurt Pot Classes

These new classes will be run by Dawn in addition to our Rainbow Pizza classes. In the classes children will learn fun facts about different foods and how they keep our bodies healthy, make their very own Layered Rainbow Yoghurts to take home with them, plus a game of fruit and veg bingo! This will give nurseries a choice when booking classes (do feel free to try both!) and we will be launching these new classes in the Summer. In the meantime, our Rainbow Pizza classes remain open for booking, either with Dawn attending your nursery to take the class, or you can order a 'Takeaway Class' where we provide you with everything you need to run the class yourself, including an instruction video. Watch out for news on the special Rainbow Pizza classes we will be running for Mothers Day in March.

- A food safety training video for nurseries and EHOs

We are planning to record a short training video for nursery staff on our food serving guidelines, with step-by-step instructions on how to correctly probe and record temperatures, and a verbal explanation of the 'technical stuff'. This will help new nursery staff responsible for serving our meals, gain a proper understanding of what they need to do. Nurseries will also be able to share the video with their EHO if necessary to assist them with understanding our procedures.

- New Menu launching in May

We are currently developing our new Spring/Summer menu which will launch in May. As usual, we are incorporating as much of the feedback from our current menu as possible to create some delicious dishes for the children to enjoy. We also have a new second course that is based on one of Charlotte's recipes from her latest book How to Feed Your Family. More on our new menus will be coming soon!
