This November it will be 25 years since Zebedees cooked our first batch of nursery meals, delivered to the door of our very first customer.

Over the past 25 years we have cooked dishes that have been eaten by literally tens of thousands of children! Many of whom have their own children now enjoying our meals at nursery!

We want to commemorate this special milestone by thanking all of our loyal customers and staff, as well as reflecting on what we can do to give back to the communities that we deliver to. We have come up with so many exciting ideas, including:

• A feature on children who ate our meals at nursery and are now fully grown. It would be really lovely to know what those children have achieved since then – whether there are any sporting heroes, charity fundraisers, politicians, health professionals, astronauts, chefs, actors, emergency service workers or local community legends! If you are a nursery who still has contact with any of these past children, or if you ate Zebedees meals yourself, please get in touch by emailing clientservices@zebedees.co.uk
• We are organising a delivery of 50 boxes to 25 food banks located within our delivery areas. We know that many foodbanks are currently struggling as donations dwindle due to the cost of living crisis and child poverty continues to increase. We will be roping in the children at some of our nurseries to help decorate these boxes, making them extra special.
• We will be launching our 25 Year Autumn/Winter Menu at the end of October, which will feature a Celebration Meal on Friday 17 November. Every child will receive a Celebration Sticker and for every meal ordered 25p will be donated to charity. More details to follow.
• We will also be producing desktop calendars for all of our nurseries and will shortly be launching a competition for the children to have their designs to feature in the calendar. Please keep an eye on your inbox as we will shortly be emailing all of our nurseries with details!

In the meantime, thank you very much to all of our lovely customers, old and new, who have supported Zebedees over the past 25 years. Here’s hoping for 25 more!
