Webinar - Helping Children to Enjoy Food at Nursery

26th April 2022

At Zebedees we are always looking at ways to go above and beyond, not just in terms of the food we supply, but extra services that we can provide for our clients. As well as providing deliciously nutritious nursery meals, we want to support nurseries in establishing healthy eating habits for the children in their care.

Following feedback from nurseries, we recently teamed up with our Nutrition Consultant, Charlotte Stirling-Reed, to run a webinar on how nursery practitioners can support children to try new foods, plus tips on how to handle food refusal. Charlotte led a 30 minute presentation on this topic and was then joined by Alastair and Dawn from our Client Relations team for a Q&A session.

We were really pleased that so many of our clients were able to attend and the positive feedback we received:

“Thank you this is super great!”

“Thank you, plenty of good information to put into our food policy, will share the recording with staff”

“Thank you for a good, informative session.”

This is a such a broad topic and we tried to cover as much as we could during the session, such as how do you define fussy eating, top tips to help kids enjoy food, the role of practitioners, practitioner role modelling, food environment, communication with parents and other strategies. If you attended the session or watched the video and would like more in-depth information or advice on any of the points covered, or if there are any other topics you would like to see us cover in future webinars, please let us know by emailing Client Services

If you weren’t able to attend the webinar you can watch a recording of the full event here
