Nursery Closure Dates

The eagle eyed amongst our nurseries may have noticed an additional feature on their ZOO (Zebedees Online Ordering) homepage...

Next time you log into ZOO please take a look at our new Closure Dates feature. Simply click on Closure Dates on the tool bar and you will be taken to the Closure Dates page. In here you will be able to tell us of any future closures that are planned for your nursery. This could be either a one off, such as an inset or staff training day, or a block of time if you are closed during school holidays. When it comes to placing your orders, any dates logged on the Closure Dates page will automatically be blocked off on the order form. If you have logged a closure that covers an entire weeks’ order ZOO will automatically alert us and there is no action required from you!

This feature will give our nurseries more control over planning meal orders, and you will no longer have to contact us when placing an order that is for less than 5 days. Logging your planned closure dates will also help our Transport Team when they are optimising our delivery routes.

For short-notice/unexpected closures or cancellations, where you have already placed an order, please contact the Client Services Team in the usual way, as the Closure Dates facility will not work for these. You will not need to log closures for Bank Holidays, as we will also be closed.
