Here is the recipe for our super healthy Oaty Date Bar!
This recipe is:
HIGH IN ENERGY
CONTAINS NO ADDED SUGAR
AND REQUIRES NO BAKING!
Serves 20
Ingredients
DATES CHOPPED AND PITTED | 400g |
BUTTER | 100g |
SULTANAS | 100g |
CHERRIES | 100g |
DICED APRICOT DRIED | 100g |
CRANBERRY DRIED | 100g |
ORANGE ZEST | Zest 1 whole orange |
ROLLED OATS | 250g |
CORN FLAKES | 200g |
COCOA POWDER | 1 spoon |
CINNAMON | ½ A TEASPOON |
Method
Take all the above ingredients and blend them in a food processor
Take the mix and lay it out on a deep tray filled with grease proof parchment paper and compress with your hand or the back of a spoon, put it in the fridge for about 4 hours to set and then cut out your portions.
